Family Friendliness: Angry Birds is pure entertainment that can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike, with a fairly simple control scheme.  It ultimately is a very fun diversion, with  the type of short, quick challenges that will make you say “let me try just one more time” before putting it down.

Highlights:
-- Simple control scheme and gameplay objective make this a highly addictive and enjoyable App.
Lowlights:

-- No real educational value here, but the basic premise and control scheme is simple enough that young kids and even some toddlers can enjoy this.

-- The structures do become more complex rather quickly as the game progresses, and you’ll need some precisely timed finger-touching to be able to separate some of the angry birds in flight.

Game Details:

Angry Birds is really a humorous physics simulation, that sees you fling your “angry bird” via slingshot into various structures in order to wipe out the “green guys” (supposedly these are pigs, but we’re really not sure exactly why these pigs or grenn.  Or for that matter, what they have against birds, although situations are presented via illustration to indicate why the birds are so angry at them).

Angry Birds is easy to play and hard to put down.  Players will use fingers to pull back and release slingshot and hurl the bird into the structure.  The animations and art style are simple yet cool.
