Family Friendliness:
With characters from Shrek, Madagascar, How To Train Your Dragon and Monsters vs. Aliens, Dreamworks Super Star Kartz is a great competitive game that’s perfect for kids in elementary school.   Power-ups that you collect along the way help ensure that nearly every race is close, as long as kids are coordinated enough to steer while making their cars go.

Highlights:
Dreamworks Super Star Kartz is very easy to play, especially if you’ve enjoyed other Kart racing games before.

Variety of game modes offer different for players to compete, such as a Battle Mode in which players are trying to avoid damage, not necessarily win the race.

Lowlights:
Kids may not have the same attachment to these Dreamworks characters as they do to Mario characters, but this is still a solid game that’s great for head-to-head play.
