Family Friendliness: GamerPops.com:  This shouldn’t be surprising, but EyePet is a great game for younger kids. It’s easy to get into, there’s plenty of different activities to try out, plus potentially hours of customization to be done. There aren’t that many PS3 titles that are appropriate for younger gamers, so not only is EyePet an age-friendly choice, it’s also a great, fun experience for them and for the loving parents who get to play with them.  Eyepet is an ideal family experience that shows off the playful and cute side of the Move hardware.

Highlights:
- Not only do you see and interact with your EyePet on screen, but the camera puts your family on screen with the little monkey. That means he will sit in your lap and try to make eye contact, jump at your hands, and generally perform little tricks that will delight the little ones.
Lowlights:
- It’s great for children to be able to see themselves on screen interacting with the EyePet, I just wish the video quality could be better. The PlayStation Eye’s maximum resolution is only 640×480, but even that doesn’t seem exactly crystal clear on screen. In our well-lit family room, on a modest 37? 720p television, the video on screen looked like a low quality YouTube video.

**Here's what we had to say about EyePet after seeing it at E3 2010**

EyePet is a game that is set to take advantage of Sony’s PlayStation Move system, using the EyeToy camera along with the Move controllers to place your family on-screen and in the action.

The PlayStation Move motion controller can be used in many ways throughout EyePet. For example, you can engage in a variety of pet care activities such as feeding, washing and styling. With the styling feature, you’ll be able to completely customize your pet such as modifying fur length, color and pattern, as well as outfitting your pet with over 250 unique costumes.

You can also use the motion controller to play various games with your pet, using the game’s on-screen integration feature to make toys appear in your hands on-screen, such as a bubble wand, a fish net or a trampoline. Other games include bowling, tennis, treadmill and snap.
EyePet also promises to let you use a drawing feature where you can utilize the motion controller to create drawings on screen that will turn into 3D objects for your pet to play with.

PlayStation Move is Sony’s attempt to enter the motion control gaming market that was started by Wii, and will also soon be joined by Microsoft’s Project Natal.  Read more about the Move hardware at http://www.familyfriendlyvideogames.com/PlayStationMove.
