ESRB Rating Summary
E Cartoon Violence
Comic Mischief
Release Date: April 19, 2011
Game System: DS
Publisher: 505 Games
Players: 1
Family Friendliness: GamerPops.com: Johnny Test is a fun little platformer that uses the license well, and would be enjoyed by fans of the show. Even non-fans can have fun with the platforming, though it can get really frustrating at times. It’s certainly not anywhere near as deep as other platformers that kids can get into (young children could finish the story in one day), despite some decent replayability elements.  What’s there is done pretty well, but you are left wanting more.  Johnny Test seems best suited to the 9-12 range - younger kids could play this, but the higher difficulty of later levels might frustrate them.

Highlights:
- Even though older tweens might get bored with the subject matter, the gameplay offers a enough of a challenge to make this game entertaining.

-- Controls don’t deviate too much as the game progresses, and it does a good job of explaining all of the moves in game in the early levels.
Lowlights:
- There is some minor cartoon violence which could involve jumping on enemies, shooting them with ray guns, pushing them off a platform, or burning them with flaming flatulence.
