Just Dance is the kind of game that will have everyone smiling. The ability for up to four players to dance to each song at the same time will have the whole family moving and grooving! Young kids, parents and even grandparents will enjoy the simple "mirror me" style dance moves.

Highlights:
- Great song selection that spans generations, from the Beach Boys to the New Kids to Who Let the Dogs Out
- Easy to jump right in and play, with the full library of songs available as soon as you turn on the game
- Even though the game is rated E 10+, the game is great for families with toddlers and young kids, because the youngsters can play right along without any negative feedback from the game for poor performance
- Hilarious dance moves that will probably make their way to the dance floor at the next family wedding reception or Bar Mitzvah
|
|
Lowlights:
- Sometimes the scoring can be a bit imprecise, and the difference between doing Great and OK is difficult to recognize
- Each song only has one difficulty level, there aren't multiple dances per each song
- Some of the gameplay competitions, such as Stike a Pose (an awkward version of red light/green light), are a bit confusing

Game Details:
Just Dance is an absolute blast, and is a great game to play with your family, at a party, or even as an exercise routine.
In Just Dance, players hold the Wii-mote in their right hand while mirroring the dance moves being performed by the silhouetted on-screen performer. The dances really incorporate the full range of motion, from up high to down low, with a few shakes sprinkled throughout the game.
It’s really easy to select songs and jump right into the gameplay. Even young kids will enjoy dancing around like their older siblings or parents, as there are no penalties for poor gameplay like you might see in games like Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
There are a few different game modes such as Last One Standing or Strike a Pose that can encourage new ways to compete, although these can be a bit confusing.
ADDITIONAL GAME INFORMATION: Requiring only one Wii Remote per player, Just Dance is the first real dance video-game in which up to four people can break it down at a time, as they follow on-screen choreographed moves set to classic dance tracks. Developed with professional dancers and based on true dance moves, Just Dance will gather everyone on the home dancefloor to move their body on the beat!

ESRB Rating Summary: This is a dancing simulation game in which players perform and learn dance steps by following the movements of on-screen avatars. The virtual dancers resemble silkscreen-negative silhouettes: they are stylized after the era of each song, and their outfits are not especially revealing. The dance moves, however, occasionally involve spanking, pelvic thrusting, hip shaking, and swaying hips. That accounts for the Mild Suggestive Themes descriptor. The game is rated E-10+ because it contains some songs with expletives (e.g., "a*s") and suggestive or crude content (e.g., "You're a womanizer," "She spent her twenties between the sheets," and a "PMS" insult).
