With a great mix of popular songs, Kidz Bop Dance Party will make every kid a star of the stage this holiday season, with dancing fun that’s all about getting up and having a good time.

Kids and parents alike will want to get up and dance to any of the game's 24 Kidz Bop versions of popular songs, like Michael Jackson's Thriller or Lady Gaga's Papparazi.  You can jump right in and play any of the songs, or work through the game's story modes to unlock more complicated dance routines.

The basic moves are pretty simple, and consist of mimicking your onscreen character as you follow the streaks and stars through the air.  The moes actually don’t require much exact timing, but we actually think this is a good thing, because at the end of the day this game is more about having fun and getting your family up and moving together more than measuring your precise dance prowess. 

For example, you can dance along to a version of Thriller with Michael Jackson, moving left, right and doing the werewolf claws.  It's hard not to smile while dancing and having a good time like this.

Kiz Bop Dance Party should definitely appeal to younger kids, and families can play together easily with a two-player mode.  Since all the songs are Kidz Bop songs, families can be assured that there won’t be any questionable lyrics.  If you have toddlers and kids who love to dance, Kidz Bop Dance Party is a great way for families to get up and moving this holiday season.

In KIDZ BOP Dance Party! The Video Game, players will dance to 24 contemporary hits ‘sung by kids for kids’ such as “Paparazzi” and “Get the Party Started” with a few timeless hits including “Thriller,” appealing to family members of all ages. Five different gameplay modes: Free Play, Challenge, Dance Off, Shop and Dress-Up, will extend the dance party for hours. Players can dance solo, team-up with a friend to dance together in 2 Player Challenge mode, or go head-to-head in Dance Off mode to compete for top score. Kids are encouraged to succeed with no penalty for errors or missteps as they receive helpful dance tips and tricks from KIDZ BOP Kids, Dana and Valerie, to pull off sensational dance moves to become the next KIDZ BOP star!

KIDZ BOP has choreographed a major dance party initiative for 2010. In response to the dance craze that’s sweeping the nation, KIDZ BOP recently released a compilation of its most popular dance songs, KIDZ BOP Dance Party! The CD, featuring 12 of today’s hottest dance hits, ‘sung by kids for kids,’ including “Party in the USA,” and “Evacuate the Dancefloor,” is perfect for parties, summer road trips, or just dancing around your living room!

In addition to the Wii video game and CD, the KIDZ BOP Dance Moves DVD hits the dance floor on August 17. The DVD includes four dance instructionals led by the KIDZ BOP Kids and choreographer Megan Honore, a featured dancer in the blockbuster movies, “High School Musical 3” and “Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.”  Kids can learn cool new moves to four rockin’ KIDZ BOP dance tracks, including “Party in the USA,” “Single Ladies,” “Evacuate the Dancefloor” and “Telephone.”  Once kids master the moves, with choreography ranging from beginner to advanced, they can dance along to the all-new corresponding music videos starring the KIDZ BOP Kids.
