In Let’s Cheer, girls (or boys) can line up in front of the Kinect and cheer away to different routines.
The game has different cheers for different sports, and kids can either jump right in and perform them or take time practicing and learning. In addition to the cheers, there are also a few dance routines.
Each cheer has three difficulty levels. The Easy level is relatively simple, while the Medium involves a few more full-body moves as well as some times when kids will need to face away from the camera. Let’s Cheer also makes use of the Kinect microphone, so on the Hard level, kids will need to shout out the right words at the right time to complete each cheer.
Up to 2 players can cheer at a time, and like other Kinect games, it’s pretty easy to jump in and out of the gameplay.
Let’s Cheer is a great game for girls who are interested in cheerleading, combining elements of many of today’s popular dance games. With a combination of cheers and dance routines, it was fun for us to see the ladies in the family act like the cheerleaders they either once were or hope one day to be.
