Family Friendliness:
Overall, My Little Pony is a great storybook App for young girls and fans of My Little Pony.  It’s a nice mixture of stories and activities.  There are lots of colorful pages for the book, and it takes about 15 minutes to have it read to you.

Highlights:
- We enjoyed the narration of the story, but appreciated how we were able to skip forward and backwards pretty easily.

- Highlighting each word as it’s read is a great way to help young kids reinforce their reading skills.

- Colorful pictures and additional information about the ponies makes My Little Pony Storybook packed with information for fans.

Lowlights:
- We had trouble figuring out the Read and Record mode, and once we did we noticed we needed to be pretty close to the phone’s microphone to be able to record at a decent volume.  It’s still a a really cool feature, but it was a bit harder than we expected.

Game Details:

This My Little Pony storybook App from Ruckus Media  that features one of the most popular of the My Little Pony characters: Twilight Sparkle.

Kids can choose to have a narrator read the story to them, highlighting each word as it is read, or read at their own pace.  There’s even a way for readers to record their own voice on each page, but we found it a bit hard to record loud enough after figuring out how to record.

As the story unfolds, kids have a chance to perform activities every few pages.  There are tilt and move activities as well as find the difference opportunities.  The reward for completing each activity is earning a special word, and at the end of the story you can use these words to help Twilight Sparkle write in her diary, which is a mad-libs style game at the end of the book.

There are lots of colorful pages for the book, and it takes about 15 minutes to have it read to you.

Overall, My Little Pony is a great storybook App for young girls and fans of My Little Pony.  It’s a nice mixture of stories and activities.
