Pokemon Rumble Blast for 3DS is a fun and easy way for kids to battle and collect Pokemon.  Featuring all the familiar (and obscure) Pokemon, battling is really as simple as moving your character around with the circle pad and pressing the A button to attack.  Once your Pokemon’s energy gets low, you can easily switch to different one by pressing the X button and immediately your new character appears on screen.

The game progresses by having Pokemon go through different levels in which they battle and collect other Pokemon.  Collecting new Pokemon is as simple as defeating them and picking them up alongside the various coins that are also generated.  Once you’ve got a full stable, you can go onto the Battle Royale in each area’s Stadium and work to defeat any and all Pokemon participants with your most powerful character.  It’s all very simple, with attacking as simple as one button press, and strategy mostly consisting of avoiding contact with other Pokemon doing battle.

Pokemon Rumble Blast makes it easy for anyone to enjoy the various Pokemon characters and battling.  There’s still a bit of strategy involved in making sure your Pokemon or powerful enough, or perhaps of the correct “type” but for the most part it’s a much simplified version of the game for players who aren’t able to fully immerse themselves in regular Pokemon games.  And we think that’s a great thing.
