Family Friendliness: Puzzler World contains enough variety and amounts of puzzles to qualify as a great pastime for those looking to exercise the brain.  Not every type of puzzle is appropriate for all ages, but there are at least a couple that will appeal to young kids.

Highlights:
-- Not every game is good for young kids, but Silhouette and Spot the Difference will allow you to use Puzzler World as a family-friendly diversion for almost any member of your family.
Lowlights:
-- It could be our small screen, but we had trouble with some of the precise letter placement and erasing necessary in the crossword-puzzle based games.

Game Details:

Puzzler World is a collection of eight different puzzles for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.  Games include Word Search, Sudoku, Crossword Puzzles, Spot the Difference and more.  Some are games that you will immediately be familiar with, while others are more obscure types of puzzles.

Each puzzle obviously has a different control scheme.  Word Search and Sudoku are really intuitive, while others like Link-a-Pix and Code Word took a bit of getting used to (Code Word especially when we needed to erase).  It’s nothing overly complex, but more likely just a function of having to fit a lot of different information on the screen at once.

One of the things our family enjoyed about Puzzler World was being able to play a few of the puzzle games together.  We were able to set our iPod touch on the table and cooperate while playing Spot the Difference and FitWord

Puzzler World contains enough variety and amounts of puzzles to qualify as a great pastime for those looking to exercise the brain.  Not every type of puzzle is appropriate for all ages, but there are at least a couple that will appeal to young kids.  Silhouette is a paint-by-touch game that can be enjoyed by younger kids, and Spot the Difference is also accessible for kids three and up.  Sudoku and Word Search are great games for those that are school-age, and the rest of Puzzler World XL are excellent puzzles for those that enjoy word games.

If your family enjoys puzzles, or you want to get your kids interested in them, Puzzler World is a recommended App, and even has some modes that can be enjoyed playing together.
