Although there are five racquet sports available, we found ourselves playing through the Badminton and Beach Tennis portions only when we had to, and seemed to gravitate more toward Tennis, Squash and Ping-Pong. For a competitive, head-to-head experience, tennis and squash are excellent, and two-player ping-pong offers a fantastic cooperative mode which sees both players on the same team alternating volleys.
Racquet Sports is great for a family looking for head-to-head competitive fun, mixed in with some great moments of cooperative gameplay. If you have Wii Motion Plus controllers, you may find the game more enjoyable because of the advanced “top-spin” or “back-spin” style hits you can do, although the game is perfectly enjoyable using only the regular Wii-mote.
