Return to Mysterious Island - Deluxe Edition (based on Jules Verne's classic novel) puts players' survival skills to test. In this first-person adventure with intuitive point-and-click navigation, players take on the role of Mina, a shipwrecked woman on a solo round-the-world sailing expedition. Using logic, creative inventory management, and elements of the supernatural to explore recognizable locations from the famous novel including the granite house, the volcano and the Nautilus, players are tasked with one priority -- escape.
The gameplay is reminiscent of older computer games such as King's Quest or Myst, in which exploration is key. According to company reps, the game has deep gameplay (around 16 hours), great graphics, and a large inventory.
