The SnakeByte Premium Fitness Board is a cool accessory for Nintendo Wii that not only works as a Wii-Balance Boad but also doubles as a working scale.

The unit is black and is about the same size as a standard Wii Fit board.  It can hold up to 390 pounds, and comes with blue activity indicator lights on both sides, and a blue tinted LCD screen which you gives you your weight readout in KG or LBs.  There is a very convenient power button on the back of the unit, which is easy to press with your feet.

We found using the SnakeByte Premium Fitness Board to be very easy, and it synched just find and was compatible with all Balance Board-compatible Wii games we tried it with.   We did not have any technical issues with it, and found it to be a very solid product.

One of the cool things about it being a scale is that it’s big and wide enough that it can, for example, help you weigh your suitcases before you go on a trip.

With the ability to function as a scale as well as be used as a Balance Board for all compatible Wii games, the SnakeByte Premium Fitness Board is a solid recommendation for families looking for a Balance Board that don’t want to buy one bundled with a game.  In today’s world of multitasking, and with many families putting a premium on storage space, it’s nice to have a Wii accessory that can serve another household function.
