Family Friendliness: GamerPops.com:  Test Drive Unlimited 2 is not a super-realistic sim game, and it’s not an all-out arcade game either. Instead, it tries to be a little of both. There’s definitely a lot to like about Test Drive Unlimited 2, but at times it feels like the game tries too hard to do too much, and the lack of focus leads to a game that lacks big moments or consistent fun.  It wouldn’t hurt to have a discussion with your kids about how driving in a game like this is nothing like driving in the real world, because the key to victory is usually a certain degree of unsafe driving. 
Highlights:
- The driving world of Test Drive Unlimited 2, which includes an updated version of the original’s island of Oahu, as well as this the new island of Ibiza, features thousands of miles of roads. That means there is a huge area to explore and discover.
Lowlights:
- The game world is populated by the kinds of narcissists that no reasonable parent would want their children to emulate, and an all-encompassing sense of greed and “more, more, more.”

- The system of needing to earn licenses to unlock races can be frustrating for families who just want to race.
