Family Friendliness:

Despite the strong possibility of some technical problems with the camera, You're in the Movies is a great reason to gather the family in front of the TV, putting everyone into starring roles.  Fun mini-games and clear direction will keep everyone swapping in and out regularly.

Highlights:
- It's a blast seeing yourself and your family on-screen reacting to the director's orders

- The game moves itself along nicely, you only have to worry about pushing buttons every few minutes at the end of each turn

- Creative minigames such as banging on a drum or pulling a rope are used in suprising ways in the final movie clip
Lowlights:
- Technical problems with the camera sometimes caused splotches to appear over our bodies as we were playing

- It would be nice if some of the minigames were unlocked and available to play from the get go

- Sometimes games seem to drag on for just a little bit too long, everyone may start to get antsy to just see the movie they've made already

Game Details:

You're in the Movies is easy to pick up and play, and fun for kids and adults, together or alone.

You're in the Movies works with the Xbox LIVE Vision camera, which should be included when you purchase it. This device easily connects to your Xbox 360 and captures players' actions in your very own living room, taking a picture of your “background” (wherever the camera is facing) and then using that as sort of a green screen. Your actions are then spliced into short, b-movie style film trialers that highlight the unique and often far-fetched talents that were captured during the minigames.

A director guides actors through their roles with simple instructions and quick feedback. In fact, each actor will receive a rating based on physical performance. This scoring system creates fun competition and keeps players from getting too lazy.
